Most shops will sell you any tire that fits. We'd rather you know what you're buying.
Tire sizing looks like a secret code: P215/60R16 95H. It's not. We'll decode every number and letter so you choose with confidence, not guesswork.
Exact fit, confirmed before you book
Three places hold your tire size, and we check them all so your fit is confirmed before any work starts.
Door jamb placard
The sticker inside your driver's door lists the factory size and pressures.
Owner's manual
The manual covers original equipment sizes and recommended alternatives for your model.
Tire sidewall
The code stamped on the tire itself shows current size, load, and speed ratings.
Reading your tire code, one stamp at a time
That string of letters and numbers on your sidewall locks in your fit, load limits, and speed rating. Here is every part, explained in plain English.
Type
The leading letter shows the tire's class. P means passenger vehicle, LT means light truck. Match this or risk the wrong build.
Width
215 is the tread width in millimeters. It defines the contact patch that grips the road, so precision here matters for handling.
Aspect ratio
The 60 means the sidewall height is 60 percent of the width. A lower number means a sportier, stiffer ride; a higher one means more cushion.
Construction
The R stands for radial, which is how modern tires layer their internal belts. It is the standard for stable, long-wearing performance.
Wheel size
The 16 tells you the wheel diameter in inches the tire fits. Get this wrong and the tire simply won't mount safely.
Load & speed
The 95 is the per-tire weight limit, and H caps safe sustained speed. Both are critical to your safety and driving performance.
Which tire actually fits your drive?
The right tire balances size, season, and how you actually drive around New Castle. Match all three, and you get a safer, smoother ride.

Match the size exactly
Your door placard or current sidewall holds the only size that fits safely. We verify it before anything gets ordered.
Pick the right season
All-season tires handle Delaware's mild stretches. Winter tires pull through ice and slush when temperatures drop.
